and more rows (2 of 2)Posted by Em!ly Ng (Residing in: Adelaide, Australia | Home:, Singapore) on 11 November 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture. The gap between the foreground buddha and the rest + his missing fingers are what i dislike. But he fills the frame. reminds me of streetfighters Updated every Friday. Comments appreciated, constructive criticism adored. Sorry, I'm a bit tight for time but i'll definitely am curious & will check out your photos ^__^

Howard F. from South Pasadena, Calif., United StatesLike that soft look, makes the Buddha look more graceful and forgiving. 11 Nov 2008 6:34pm Laurent from Lyon, Francevery beautiful deep of field and nice soft atmosphere thanks to the focus and the light 12 Nov 2008 9:55am Chris from Melbourne, AustraliaI see what you mean with the spacing, but it's a minor point, if you went around any more to minimise the spacing the hands wouldn't have lined up as nicely and the deep depth of field wouldn't have been emphasised as well. I prefer this photo to the previous one, I think the processing here's more delicate and and suits the subject - the soft finish and gold-toned light works brilliantly. Print it, frame it, put it above your desk :) 13 Nov 2008 8:19am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaIt's good to be self critical, although personally I find this a very satisfying image as it is. The golden look and the softness seem quite appropriate. It all looks quite mystical. 13 Nov 2008 9:26am Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesThis is a wonderful image. The light is spectacular. It even lights the roof above. Your focus on the one statue with the others out of focus works well. 15 Nov 2008 6:28am |
