I've never seen so many buddhas in my life before going to Taiwan.

That's a lot! Must have been a little intimidating. I like the diagonal line and the light to darkening sky tones. :)

Your composition is very effective with the layers of Buddhas. It sort of reminds me of the 10,000 Buddhas Monastery in Hong Kong.

Interesting that I was really thinking about the dynamic look that this had before reading Howard's comment, above. For me, I get the feeling that the large Buddha is soaring upwards, whilst the smaller ones are dropping down towards the left. Excellent, creative composition, in any case. The tonal range is well captured, too. This is also a very attractive photo for its exoticism.
