Hello Emily!! :) These are just gorgeous!! I remember seeing many of these in Thailand -- and i would just stand and stare for ages!! So crisp, and the color is amazing!! Splendid!!

Aren't these lotus amazing? I am too heavy to stand on it, but they have tough stems below and can hold a little kid's weight. Beautiful shot Emily.

there is nothing wrong at all with this photo the best I like is the sharpness of the plants the colour is also excellent!!

@Philip: i was confused when i read "there's nothing wrong at all", like there should be somehting wrong that i or somebody pointed out. but i get what u mean now, thanks!
perhaps lower viewpoint to get the edge of the pads, where there's nice light, contrasting with spiny underside on the bg. wouldn't be the same photo thou..
i'm curious, how did u stumble upon my site?

Those are great! We don't usually see those particular kind in Japan, or at least I haven't. They're pretty impressive.
