For dj.tigersprout's and ISAO's proposed Self-Portraits Day!
I chose this shot just cos I thought it'll be interesting and different. Then i realised, hey it's actually spot-on. I'm usually in pyjamas while surfing Am3. This shot taken when i was in a silly mood - and I hope not to take my photoblog too seriously. Shots may be noisy/blur/random/not outstanding "but i like it" (tagged with BILI) so they manage to sneak in.
I'm emily, 20 this year. I started photography when i was 10 - my parents trusted me enough to be the sole photographer of our Rome/Venice trip! With awareness of some tips (rule of thirds, perspective, patterns etc) my uncle gave me (in form of a lil book with 100 tips) I shot a roll of film a day that holidat - was pretty expensive! Trivia: i spoilt the zoom by over-misuse: I used it as a binoculars (monoculars?) to look at details on chapel ceilings etc..
I'm a Gemini. I'm a ENFP. And i think they're pretty accurate list of personality traits.
This is my Am3 photoblog and i love this community. Sharing my photos and getting feedback. I try to leave bits of myself, revealing more who i am in comments/replies to others. The encouragement i've got has driven me to carry my camera (almost) everywhere.

HELLO EMILY!!! So great to meet you!!! THANK YOU for such an excellent & also personal post!!! I LOVE the hair down in front of your face -- sooo expressive!!! I also love how you recounted that you are often in your PJ's when you are on Am3... I like the different approach... breaking the rules of the norm of smiling wide eyed.... very expressive. At 10 I am not sure I knew what a camera was.
